Last night we took dinner over to Lazaro & Glendy's house to eat with the family. A traditional Panimaquin dinner of beans, rice, and meat. It was delicious, and it was a good time spent together. Then Juan Carlos and Amelia came over and talked about the worship team, then we prayed over them which was also good.
This morning we had our last English class of the week, which went really well. The kids here are so smart and catch on so quickly. For some reason I was exhausted so I went in the back room to pray and ended up falling asleep. I woke up for lunch, but shortly thereafter passed out again. It felt like when you take NyQuill and can't get up in the morning because you're all groggy. When I woke up it was still raining so I read some, and then made dinner. After dinner we played a game of Scrabble that I lost, and then went to church. One of my favorite things about going to church is seeing the family of Pablo & Chus. There is something about the family as a whole that makes me so happy. There just seems to be a lot of love flowing between them all. I know they're not perfect, and I don't try to romanticize it, but I just love being around them. Especially little Glendy. Her thousand watt smile could light up half of the US. Pastor Mike brought the message on Cain & Abel and sin lying at your door. Then Mario & Daniel led us in very heartfelt and beautiful worship. The more Spanish I learn, the more I can understand the songs and sing along. It's awesome to worship God in another language.
Tomorrow morning at 7 we embark (30 people in 3 cars... haha) to a pool in San Lorenzo for baptisms!! I am so excited for everyone. And, apparently, I'm going to teach them all how to swim. Every day I want to grow closer. In my own mind, grow smaller. And allow Christ to expand and expand and expand....
"He must increase, but I must decrease."

Good thing you are a great swim teacher! :)
God is working so much in you and it makes me proud. I pray that you continue to keep going, pressing into Him.
love you, miss you.
I know that you've been practicing your swimming while I've been gone so that you can amaze me with your skills upon my return... right? :D
love you too.
Thanks for updating. It all sounds amazing!
He is enough!
