I would say something, but these verses put it way better than I could. Be blessed by the Word. :)
"Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles- when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you. They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. But the end of all things is at hand, therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things, have ferverent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins."
- 1 Peter 4:1-5, 7-8
"But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you."
- 1 Peter 5:10
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you."
- 1 Timothy 4:12, 15-16

"After you have suffered a while . . ." is a pretty interesting choice of words, isn't it? :D
I pray God continues to open you up to receive deep revelation of Jesus and the way of Christ. Your so awesome and keep on.
"...give yourself entirely to them"
That word "entirely" is an important word.
