Resurrection

(One of my favorite poems, ever. And definitely suited for the day. Happy Easter, all!)

Behold the Savior of mankind
Nailed to the shameful tree!
How vast the love that Him inclined
To bleed and die for thee!

Hark, how He groans, while nature shakes,
And earth’s strong pillars bend;
The temple’s veil in sunder breaks,
The solid marbles rend.

“’Tis done!” The precious ransom’s paid,
“Receive My soul,” He cries!
See where He bows His sacred head!
He bows His head, and dies!

But soon He’ll break death’s envious chain,
And in full glory shine:
O Lamb of God! was ever pain,
Was ever love, like Thine?

I can definetally see why thats your favorite! Man! What and awesome God we serve. You have just been blessing me so much lately on how quick you pick up on things. I love learning with you and im glad you stayed on Friday because you are a major influence in my life because of how hard you run after Jesus. Give it all to Him sarah, you are doing so so so good. I love you ALOT. =] Thanks.

YEAH! I love this. I like how Christ's death has brought us life, and how His love for us is the greatest.

Thank you for sharing this.

You're wonderful, in Christ!
