After I made that last post, John and Pastor Mike ended up going down the mountain with Lazaro but not everyone could go for "security purposes" in the rain. A little while later, Glendy came over and asked if I would go with her to see Ingrid's new baby. We put on yellow raincoats (she called us "dos amarillas", or two yellows), and took our flashlight into the rain. Ingrid's baby was born two weeks ago, and she is so small! Panimaquin custom is to not name their children for two months, so right now the baby is nameless. Apparently she has some health issues and is going to see a doctor in the capital on Monday... please pray for her. Yesterday we helped set up decorations in the church for tomorrow's wedding, and helped out in the project; as well as played with the kids. Hilbert brought some big things of bubbles, and the children were absolutely enamored by them, it was awesome. There was a service at night, and the youth performed two dramas and a song; all of which were wonderful. The parents came to see them perform, and it was great to see the church so packed. Today was a kinda quiet day, but there is a youth Bible study tonight at Lazaro's house.
Yesterday while I was reading and during worship last night, God was really impressing something on my heart: He is my Rock. I don't exactly know how to explain it except that it felt like everything inside me merged into that one moment, almost like coming up for a breath of air after being underwater for a long period of time. He is my Rock. It is only God, and He is all I need. Man, it was awesome. I want to keep that understanding within me so that it will permeate deeper and deeper. The Johns just returned from the tienda with Roja and some weird cake concotion, so this is where today's post ends. :)

You are beautiful and I am so glad that God is speaking to and through you. I hope to talk to you soon. . it seems like the phone died out right when it was my turn to talk.
He is our very present help in time of need.
:)
I heard you say "Hello" and I said it back, but the phone died and wouldn't let me make any more calls :( I have no idea why though. I love you, though. And it was good to hear your voice for a split second.
I just read your past three posts because I havent been on the internet latley and it seems like you are having an amazing time!
I know how hard it is to explain in words how great things really are and it all seems so wonderful I cant wait to see what its REALLY like! (meaning I'm sure it will be even better than you describe...again with the hard to explain thing)
anyways- that is so awesome. I'm so glad you two are posting it all seems so amazing. (although I hope your fibro chills out a little) I'm so proud of you.
Glad to have talked to you, and hope you are feeling better (regarding John's post)
